Privacy Policy

These pages set no cookies, run no analytics, load no external fonts or third-party scripts, and carry no marketing trackers. Every font, style and script is served from this domain, so loading a page here tells no other company that you visited. Nothing about your visit is collected, profiled, or sold.

One thing can be stored on your device, and only if you ask for it. Choosing Light or Dark with the theme switch saves that choice in your browser’s local storage, under the name cf-theme, so the next page opens the way you left it. It never leaves your browser, it is not a cookie, and choosing System removes it.

What the host sees

Cloudflare serves the static files and, like any web server, processes standard network request metadata: incoming IP address, requested URI, and user-agent. This is the underlying mechanical protocol of delivering content across the web; it is not read, stored, or processed by Canon Fidei for marketing purposes.

Links to external properties

Links to biblestandard.app and rubyandriver.com take you to distinct web properties governed by their respective privacy terms. Bible Standard's reader project and payment handling are entirely external to this studio website.

The enquiry form

The form on the homepage collects your name, your email address, an optional business name, the kind of work you are asking about, and your message. It is posted to this site's own server and relayed straight to the studio inbox. It is not stored in a database here, not added to any list, and not passed to any advertising or analytics service. There is no account to create and no cookie is set at any point.

Two anti-spam measures run on submission, and neither profiles you: a decoy field that only automated software fills in, and a check that the form was not completed faster than a person could type. No CAPTCHA is used, which is deliberate: a CAPTCHA would mean loading a third-party script and sending your details to the company that runs it.

The lawful basis is your own request under article 6(1)(b) GDPR: you are asking about a possible contract. The relay is performed by Resend (Resend Inc.), acting as a processor solely to deliver the message.

Project correspondence

If you contact the studio regarding a software engagement, your email address and message contents are retained for the duration of the inquiry or contract, and subsequently for the statutory retention period required by French commercial accounting regulations for any invoiced deliverables. Your details are never added to automated marketing lists or shared with third parties.

Your GDPR rights

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you possess the right to request access to any personal data held about you, request corrections or erasure, and submit concerns to the French data protection authority (CNIL). Because this site itself maintains no user accounts or database tracking, any such inquiry applies exclusively to email correspondence sent to our inbox.
